Laguna Water is One of Biñan’s Top 10 Business Taxpayers in 2015

Laguna AAAWater Corporation (Laguna Water), the largest water and used water service provider in the Province of Laguna, received a Plaque of Recognition from the City Government of Biñan for being one of the City’s Top 10 Corporations in terms of tax payment in 2015.

Last February 5, the City celebrated its 71st Liberation Day with the theme "Pilat na naiwan ng Digmaan Sagisag ng Kapayapaan." During the celebration, held at the Biñan Multi-Purpose Hall, Poblacion, Biñan, Laguna, Laguna Water was recognized as one of the top business organizations operating in the City.

The award was handed by City Mayor Marlyn "Len-len" Alonte-Naguiat and Vice Mayor Atty. Walfredo “Arman” R. Dimaguila along with Laguna Governor Ramil L. Hernandez and Vice Governor Katherine C. Agapay. Mayor Alonte extended her gratitude to all corporations for choosing Biñan as their preferred place of operations for their business.

At present, Laguna Water provides water to more than 100,000 households within the cities of Biñan, Sta. Rosa and Cabuyao. Laguna Water is now poised to provide water and used water services to other cities and municipalities within Laguna Province with the amendment of its Concession Agreement last June 2015.

Laguna Water is a successful public-private partnership between the Provincial Government of Laguna and Manila Water Philippine Ventures, a wholly-owned company by Manila Water Company Inc. (Manila Water), the Ayala-led water service provider in the East Zone of Metro Manila and a leader in the water industry in the Philippines, with presence in Vietnam, Myanmar and Indonesia.
