Laguna Water, Sta. Rosa Join Forces for Sustainability

Laguna Water was recognized as an environmental partner of Sta. Rosa Laguna in the City’s 10th Anniversary Cityhood celebration. A plaque was awarded to the Company for its contributing efforts to bring sustainable environment in Sta. Rosa.
According to Melvin Tan, general manager of Laguna Water the company supported activities that emphasize the formation of community awareness and engagement of ensuring the viability of the environment such as fun runs and tree planting.
Looking forward, Tan adds that together with Laguna Lake Development Authority, the water service provider is expected to be involved in the Adopt-a-River Program, an undertaking which encourages different sectors of the community to gather resources and efforts to clean-up a river.
Laguna Water is a joint venture company between the Provincial Government of Laguna and Laguna AAAWater Corporation, a Manila Water subsidiary. Its concession area covers the cities of Biñan, Santa Rosa and Cabuyao.
